We’re thrilled to be part of what God is doing in our community! My wife, Victoria, and I are blessed to raise our children, Cora and Grant. As a Pastor at Fireside Church, I’m honored to journey alongside others as we grow in faith and navigate life’s ups and downs together.

Our Values
these guide the way that we live life together
-
We share the hope of the gospel while loving those around us (John 13:34-35, Romans 10:9-15).
-
We enjoy authentic, meaningful relationships throughout the week (Acts 2:42-47, 1 John 1:5-10).
-
We affirm the distinct design that God has given to every believer (1 Corinthians 12:4-27).
-
We engage with our neighbors in ways that address tangible needs (Matthew 25:34-40; Titus 2:7-8).
Our Beliefs
our beliefs are centered on God’s Word
-
God is the Creator and Ruler of everything. He has no beginning and will have no end. He is wholly good and without error. He is eternally revealed as three-in-one: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 32:4; Psalm 90:2; John 15:26; Colossians 1:16)
-
God makes all men and women in His likeness. Therefore, from conception until its natural end, every life is of extreme value and worth. However, all people have become marred by sin: an attitude of selfishness, rebellion, and disobedience toward God. Because God would not be just if He allowed sin to permanently exist, all people’s inherent destiny is to remain separated from God and spend eternity in hell.
(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 5:4; 139:13-16; Isaiah 53:6a; 59:2; Romans 3:23; 2 Thessalonians 1:9)
-
Jesus is co-equal with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. He is the only person who lived sinless on earth, as He was both fully God and fully man. Jesus willingly died upon a cross to absorb God’s just wrath at humanity’s sin, and yet He rose again on the third day, proving He is more powerful than sin and death. After appearing to many witnesses, He ascended to rejoin the Father, from where He will return to judge all people. Though all are guilty, God graciously offers pardon to anyone who believes that Jesus’ sacrifice offers the only way for the unpayable debt of sin to be forgiven. Those who acknowledge Jesus as rightful ruler obtain lasting peace with God, and will be united with Him in heaven forever.ascended to sit at the Father’s right hand, from where He will return to judge all who have lived. Though all are guilty, God graciously offers pardon to anyone who believes in Jesus as the one and only way for the unpayable debt of sin to be forgiven. Those who acknowledge Jesus as rightful ruler enjoy peace with God now, and will be united with Him in heaven forever.
(John 1:1,14; 3:16-17; Acts 1:11; Romans 6:23; 10:9; 1 Corinthians 15:3b-4; Hebrews 4:15; Revelation 20:12; 21:3-4)
-
Under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, God used human authors to reveal Himself and declare His message. Because the Bible is inspired by God, it is everlasting truth without any mixture of error, and is not subject to cultural revision.
(Proverbs 30:5; 2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

‘Church’ is not a building or an event; rather, it is a God-gathered group of people. God’s desire is for His church to be known for their care, compassion, service, and love. What sets the church apart from other social institutions, however, is its primary mission to love God and proclaim His goodness to the world. The success of a church is measured by its faithfulness to encourage fellow sinners to turn to Jesus for forgiveness, and fellow believers to continue trusting in Jesus’ reign. The church strives to help each other grow in Christlike character and joyfully obey Jesus’ commands (including immersion, disciple-making, and radical generosity).
(Matthew 22:37-39; 28:18-20; Luke 9:23-24; John 13:34-35; Acts 2:41-45; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; 1 Peter 2:5)
